Yorkshire Day - Walk led by Marsden Walkers are Welcome

Join Marsden Walkers are Welcome on Yorkshire Day (Sunday 1st August) for a guided walk along the ‘Mesolithic March Hill Trail’. A circular walk of moderate intensity will lead us across the moors and to the summit of March Hill, where archaeologists have found evidence of Mesolithic people. We will be joined by expert, Dr Paul Preston who will give a short talk and answer questions.

We will leave from Marsden Mechanics at 12 noon and expect to return between 4 and 4.30pm. Booking is essential.
A special Yorkshire Day menu will be available for walkers at Katie’s Kitchen back in Marsden on our return, featuring Yorkshire Pudding Pies, filled with either roast beef or nut roast and all the trimmings. Most dietary requirements can be catered for, but please email in advance.
