Bookings: Main Hall

Our Main Hall at the Mechanics is a flexible space suitable for up to 200 people. It has full professional kitchen facilities and staffed licenced bar.

The Hall has been used for all kinds of events and occasions – festivals, cinema, celebrations, weddings, parties, training, conferences and our Christmas pantomime, to name a few.

The Hall is situated on the first floor with both stair and lift access.

PARKING: If you are considering holding your event here, in addition to on-street parking, there are two parking areas within approximately 5 minutes walk. Lakeside (next to Little Shining Stars Day Nursery), and next to Marsden Railway Station (Click the location name for a map).

200 (170 dining), dependent on your chosen layout

Cost:  

£25 per hour. There is a discretionary discount available to charities, and good causes. If you think this may apply to your booking, please do ask.

Facilities Available:  

Professional Kitchen, fully stocked, staffed and licenced bar (til 2am), sound system PA, lighting rig. Use of an upright piano is available, this is chargeable at £20/hiring and should be agreed in advance.

Weddings, gigs, theatre performances, craft markets, public meetings, larger workshops, training days
